Muhasebe dersi alan öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerine göre öğrenim tercihlerinin belirlenmesine ilişkin bir araştırma: Gümüşhane Üniversitesi örneği

Abstract

Araştırmada, öğrencilerin kişisel özelliklerinin farklı olması dikkate alınarak, muhasebe öğrenim ve öğretiminde hızlı, kolay ve kalıcı bilgi için, öğrencilerin kişisel özellikleri ve yeteneklerine en uygun öğrenme stil tercihlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında, Gümüşhane Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi'nde muhasebe eğitimi almakta olan 201 öğrenciyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma da öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerini tespit etmek amacıyla, Kolb Öğrenme Stili Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Bu envanter de öğrenme stilleri: değiştiren, özümseyen, ayrıştıran, yerleştiren olarak dört gruba ayrılmış olup bu stiller muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrenciler bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen veriler ise SPSS 20 programı ile analiz edilmiş ve sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Muhasebe dersi alan öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerine göre öğrenim tercihlerinin belirlenmesine yönelik analiz sonucuna göre; Gümüşhane Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi'nde eğitim gören öğrencilerin ölçek sorularına verdikleri cevaplar sonucunda büyük çoğunluğun ayrıştıran öğrenme stiline sahip olduğu görülmektedir. In the research, considering the different personal characteristics of the students, for quick, easy and permanent in formation in accounting learning and teaching,the aim of this course is to determine the most appropriate learning style preferences of students. The study was conducted in 2018-2019 academic year with the number of students who took accounting education in Gümüşhane University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In the study, Kolb Learning Style Inventory was used to determine the learning styles of the students. Learning styles in this inventory. It is divided into four groups as modifier, assimilator, parser, and insertor. These styles have been evaluated in the context of student studying accounting. The data obtained from the surveys were analyzed with SPSS 20 program and the results were evaluated. It is seen that the majority of the students studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Gumushane University have a distinctive learning style.
