The aim of the research is to determine the economic contributions to tourism in the region of Arab tourists,
which is an important value for the Eastern Black Sea Region. In this context, it is tried to determine which Arab
countries mainly tourists arrive to the Eastern Black Sea Region, the reasons why these tourists travel to the
region and the average travel expenses. As method, the secondary data is used in the research which is a
descriptive study. It is mainly benefited from TURKSTAT, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Eastern Black Sea
Development Agency (DOKA), IMF, UNWTO and other written sources in the scope of the research. The study
can be evaluated originally in terms of determining which areas Arab tourists are spending in the Eastern Black
Sea Region over the years, and drawing road maps for the stakeholders in the region. As a result of the research,
it is also tried to determine the international tourism expenditures, popular travel points, average travel expenses
and destination preferences of the Gulf countries.
