| dc.description.abstract | Aim: Hirsutism is a disease involving increased terminal hair growth in women with a male-type distribution pattern in androgen-sensitive areas such as the chin, upper lip, chest, abdomen, back, and thighs. Our review of the available literature revealed no previous studies concerning the role of the peripheral blood neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), an easily calculated and noninvasive marker, in hirsutism. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between androgen levels and NLR in female patients diagnosed with hirsutism. | en_US |
