The working woman is the center around whom the episodes revolve in a novel of “Honey-making Kobra”. The importance given by novelist Ahmed Ziyad Muhabbik to his feminine figures, especially working women, appears throughout the novel. On the one hand, it is seen that the number of working women is more than the men mentioned in the novel and the role given to women is important; the title of the novel, on the other hand, evokes the importance of that role. In this novel, neither the woman is in a weak state that succumbs to the power and laws of the man, nor she complies with the customs of eastern societies, as we have been seen usually in poems and prose of eastern Arab literatüre. On the contrary, she demonstrates her actual and intellectual power in a strong manner and tries to realize her rights and to prove her personality. This research aims to present a brief summary of this novel and demonstrates the role of working women in it through investigating feminine characters and the author's methods in its characterization and its linguistic symbol. It also demonstrates working women's obstacles, procedures to overcome them, and a good manager's role in improving their performance. ;“Bal Yapan Kobra” romanında, çalışan kadın olayların etrafında döndüğü merkezde bulunan figürdür. Romancı Ahmed Ziyad Muhabbik kadın şahsiyetlerine, özellikle de çalışan kadınlara verdiği önem, roman boyunca gözükmektedir. Bir taraftan çalışan kadınların sayısının romanda zikredilen erkeklerden daha çok olduğu ve kadınlara verilen rolün önemli olduğu görünmekte; diğer taraftan romanın başlığı da o rolün önemini çağrıştırmaktadır. Bu romanda kadın, erkeğin gücüne ve kanunlarına boyun eğen zayıf bir durumda olmadığı gibi, genellikle doğu Arap edebiyatında gördüğümüz şiir ve nesirdeki gibi doğu toplumlarının adetlerine de uyan şahsiyet de değildir. Aksine fiili ve ilmi gücünü güçlü bir şekilde ortaya koyan ve sahip olduğu hakları gerçekleştirmeye ve kişiliğini ispata çalışandır. Bu çalışma, bu romanın kısa bir özetini vermektedir. Sonra da çalışan kadının rolünü ortaya koyar. Kişileri inceleme sürecinde kadının karakterini, yazarın onu oluşturma yöntemlerini ve ona ait dil özelliklerini koymaya çalışır. Ayrıca çalışan kadının sorunlarını ve bu sorunlara karşı durma yollarını ve iyi bir yöneticinin görevini yerine getirmedeki etkisi üzerinde durmaktadır.
