GÜMÜŞHANE ÜNİVERSİTESİ MENSUPLARINA AİT TÜKETİM HARCAMALARI ANALİZİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Gümüşhane il merkezinde ikamet eden Gümüşhane Üniversitesi mensuplarına ait tüketim davranışlarının belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada, 101 katılımcıya dört hafta olarak uygulanan anketler ile elde edilen veriler, EASI (Exact Affine Stone Index) talep sistemi yardımıyla modellenip, tüketim harcamalarının bütçe içindeki payları, Engel eğrileri ve demografik değişkenlerin tüketim üzerindeki etkileri SUR (Görünürde İlişkisiz Regresyon) yöntemi kullanılarak tahmin edilmiştir. Cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, araç sahipliği demografik değişkenleri ve tüketim harcamalarının bütçe içindeki payı arasında istatistikî anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yüksek gelir gruplarında gıda ve giyim harcamalarının bütçe içindeki payının düşük kaldığı, düşük gelir gruplarında ise barınma ve ulaştırma harcamalarının bütçe içindeki payının bir hayli yüksek olduğu tahmin edilmiştir

The aim of this study is to determine the consumption behavior of Gumushane University members residence in city center. In the study, data obtained from four-week questionnaires administered to 101 members is analyzed by EASI (Exact Affine Stone Index) Demand System Model. Share of consumption expenditure in budget, Engel curves of individuals and the effects of demographic variables on consumption are estimated by SUR (Seemly Unrelated Regression) method. With these models findings statistically significant relationship between gender, age, marital status, car ownership and share of their consumption expenditures in the budget is determined. Moreover, the share of food and clothing expenditure in budget is low in high-income groups and the share of housing and transportation expenditure considerably high in low-income groups
