MODERN EPİSTEMOLOJİNİN TEMEL REFLEKSİYONU OLARAK YÖNTEMSEL DÜŞÜNMENİN ZEMİNİ

Abstract

Avrupa'da Rönesans ile başlayan toplumsal ve siyasal dönüşüm ile birlikte düşünsel yapı da değişmiştir. Bu dönemde pratik zeminle eş güdümlü olarak Aristoteles geleneğine bağlı olan epistemolojinin terk edilmeye başlandığı görülmektedir. Varolan pratik zemine ayak uyduramayan Aristotelesçi metafizik yaklaşım yerine, pratik yaşamı yönlendirmeye başlayan doğa bilimsel içerikle donatılmış bir epistemolojiye doğru gidilmiştir. Bu epistemolojinin en önemli özelliği ise doğru bir yöntem meydana getirerek olgusallığı anlamanın yolunu bulmaktır. Bu şekilde oluşturulan modern epistemolojide yöntem bilinci öne çıkmıştır. Francis Bacon tam da böyle bir epistemolojik yaklaşım ile varlığı yönlendirme ve ondan faydalanmanın yollarını bulmaya çalışmaktadır. Onun oluşturduğu bu epistemolojik zemin daha sonraki dönemlerde etkisini arttırarak devam ettirecektir. Bu makalede modern epistemolojinin hakikati anlama ve yönlendirmede yöntem bilincini temel refleksiyon olarak nasıl benimsediği Francis Bacon örneği üzerinden gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır

The intellectual structure covaried with social and political transformation which began with Renaissance in Europa. It is seen that epistemology dependent on Aristotelian tradition was abondened coordinately practical grounds in that period. Instead of Aristotelian metaphysic which does not keep pace with practical ground was made for epistemology which is fitted scientific content. The most important feature of this epistemology is to find a way of understanding factivity by forming a suitable method. The sense of method came to the fore front in modern epistemology which was formed in this way. Francis Bacon tried to find ways of direction to being and benefit from it with such an epistemic approach. His epistemic ground continued to life effectiveness in the later periods. In this paper, it is tried to show that how modern epistemology embraces the sense of method on understanding and directing of truth as fundamental reflection byway of instance of Francis Bacon
