"YAVRULARIMIZA DİN DERSLERİ" KİTABINDA AHMET HAMDİ AKSEKİ'NİN UYGULADIĞI DİN ÖĞRETİMİ İLKELERİ

Abstract

Ahmet Hamdi Akseki ülkemizde din eğitimi ve din hizmetleri konusunda önemli yeri olan bir şahsiyettir. Bu yüzden kendisi hakkında iki sempozyum tertip edilmiş ve orada sunulan tebliğlerde onun din eğitim ve öğretimi konusundaki görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Fakat bu sempozyumlarda Akseki'nin din öğretimi ilke ve yöntemleri sistematik ve özel bir konu olarak ele alınmamıştır. Bu açıdan bu çalışmada, eğitimci kişiliğinin genel hatlarından bahsedilerek onun bu yönü değerlendirmeye alındı ve derslerde uygulamış olduğu din öğretimi ilkeleri günümüz öğretim ilkeleri açısından incelenip değerlendirildi. Çalışma nitel bir desene dayalı olarak tarihsel dökümantasyon ve içerik analizi yöntemiyle geliştirildi. Bu noktada, öğretim ilkelerinin açık bir şekilde görüldüğü beş kitabın birleştirilmiş şekli olan Akseki'nin "Yavrularımıza Din Dersleri" adlı eserindeki din öğretimi ilkelerinin neler olduğu ortaya koyulmaya çalışıldı. Akseki'nin "Yavrularımıza Din Dersleri" adlı eserinde genel olarak, çocukların bilgi, beceri ve zihinsel yapılarına göre bir öğretim tarzının olduğunu, aynı zamanda çocuklara yeni bilgiler öğretmeye çalışırken iletişim ilkelerini etkili kullandığını söylemek mümkündür. Buna ek olarak ders verirken konuyu şiir, hikâye, kıssa ve yaşanmış olaylarla pekiştirmesi, konuları sıkıcı olmadan anlatması ve uzatmaması, çocukların hiç kimseye ihtiyaç duymadan dersleri anlayabilecek sadelikte dili kullanması sebebiyle, yaşadığı dönemde din öğretimi ilkelerine önemli derecede yer verdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu amaçla Din Eğitimi alanına özellikle Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmenlerine önemli katkılar vereceği düşüncesiyle yapılmaya değer bir çalışma olduğu kanaatini taşımaktayız.

Ahmet Hamdi Akseki is a figure who holds an important place in religious education and religious services in our country. Therefore two symposiums has been arranged about himself and there, his views on religion education and training are discussed via presented papers. However, in these symposiums religious education principles and methods of Ahmet Hamdi Aksekî: were not under debate as systematically and as a special topic. From this view, in this work his educator side was taken to evaluation by mentioning the general outline of his educator personality, and his religious education principles which he applied in his courses were examined and appraised in todays education principles. The study was developed with historical documentation and content analysis method based on a qualitative pattern. At this point, it has been tried to set out what are the principles of religion education mentioned in the book named "Religion Courses For Our Kids" which is a combined form of his five books, and where his education alphabet is clearly seen. In Akseki's book named "Religion Courses For Our Kids" there is an education method based on in general children's knowledge, skills and mental structure, and it is also possible to say that he uses communication basics effectively while he is trying to teach children new information. In addition, the teaching style to consolidate the subject with poems, stories, anecdotes and experienced events during teaching. According to him its neccessary that the subjects without tedious and prolonged, as well as using of a simple and plain language, that the children can understand the lessons without help of others. It's reveals the fact, that he had given significant place to the principles of religious education during his period. For this purpose, it is an important contribution to the field of Religious Education particularly for the teachers of Religion Culture and Ethics. Therefore I think it's a worth subject for research.
