Recently developed and widely used cement paste backfill (CPB) method; the mining industry has many benefits in terms of the application of the sectoral, operational, environmental and legal legislation on the disposal of mine waste. That's why; cemented paste backfill (CPB) method is preferred in the mine works in our country. CPB; 75% to 85% pulp solids (PKO) of 3-11% binder (cement and pozzolane materials) and sufficient water to be pumpable (process water, tap and lake water) It is defined as a mixture with. In this study; e use of Zeolite as a pozzolanic additive in Portland cement (PC) used in CPB was investigated. Uniaxial compressive strength and flexural strength were determined at the end of curing time of 28 and 90 days. According to the obtained results, the puzolanic activity index of zeolite was obtained. As a result, zeolite; In 28 days, compression and flexural strengths were found to be 38.99 MPa and 8.95 MPa, respectively, and 44.26 MPa and 10.83 MPa at the end of 90 days. Pozzolanic activity index was 84.07% in 28 days and 95.43% in 90 days. Copyright © IMCET 2019 International Mining Congress and Exhibition of Turkey. All rights reserved.
