Gümüşhane ili için bisiklet ulaşımı planlaması

Abstract

Artan dünya nüfusu ve gelişen otomotiv endüstrisi beraberinde daha fazla ulaşım ihtiyacı doğurmuş ve motorlu araç sektörünün artan bir ivme kazanmasına sebep olmuştur. Dünya'da küresel ısınmanın büyük bir problem olduğu tartışmasız bir gerçektir. Sera gazlarının neden olduğu küresel ısınmaya fosil yakıtların büyük bir katkısı vardır. Çünkü fosil yakıt kullanan motorlu araçlar, küresel ısınmaya yönelik büyük bir tehdit oluşturan karbondioksit gazı üretirler. Ayrıca motorlu araç kullanımı, petrol gereksiniminden dolayı ülke ve birey ekonomisini de kötü yönde etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada amaç; Gümüşhane kentinde bisikletin bir ulaşım aracı olarak kullanılması ve kent genelinde yaygınlaşması için Gümüşhane'nin kentsel özellikleri ve mevcut ulaşım ağı yapısı da göz önünde bulundurularak, bisiklet ulaşımı açısından kentin değerlendirilmesi ve bir bisiklet yolu tasarımının yapılmasıdır. Ayrıca bisiklet kullanımının günlük yaşama dâhil edilerek halka motorlu ulaşım haricinde bir alternatif olarak ulaşım amaçlı kullandırılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda toplam 10.500 metre bisiklet yolu tasarlanmış, bu yolun bir bölümü güzergâh 1 olarak adlandırılan Erzurum-Trabzon karayolu kenarına planlanmıştır. Güzergâh 2 olarak adlandırılan diğeri ise Atatürk Caddesine, Cumhuriyet Caddesine ve şehir merkezi ile karayolu kenarı arasındaki bağlantı yollarına planlanmıştır. Seçilen güzergâh boyunca; bisiklet yollarının uygulama projeleri ve yaklaşık maliyetleri hazırlanmış ayrıca şehir merkezi ve üniversite kampüsünü kapsayan bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket sonuçları Ki Kare, Phi ve Cramer V testleri yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak sürdürülebilir ulaşım için, ulaşım yatırımlarında bisiklet kullanımının sağlıklı, güvenli, ekonomik, çevre dostu bir ulaşım şekli olması ve erişilebilirlik açısından faydalı olması nedeniyle kentsel ulaşım sorunlarına en önemli çözümlerden biri olduğu görülmüştür.

The growing world population and developing automotive industry have brought more transport needs and are caused to a growing momentum to motor vehicle industry. It is indisputable fact that global warming is a major problem in the world. There is a huge contribution of fossil fuels in to global warming caused by greenhouse gases. Because motor vehicles using fossil fuels produce carbon dioxide gas, which is a major threat to global warming. Moreover, the use of motor vehicles also affects the country and the individual economy due to the oil consumption In the purpose of this study is to evaluate the city in terms of bicycle transportation and to design a bicycle paths considering the urban characteristics of Gumushane and its current transportation network structure for the use of a bicycle as a means of transportation in Gumushane and its popularization throughout the city. As part of this aim it is aimed to promote the use of a bicycle for transportation purposes as an alternative to motor vehicles for people in daily life. A total of 10.500 meters of the bicycle paths have designed within the scope of this study, and 8.300 meters of this road is Route 1 which have made on the side of the Erzurum-Trabzon highway. The other one, which will be called Route 2, have designed on Ataturk Street and Cumhuriyet Street as 1.700 meters and on the access roads between the city center and the highway side as 500 meters. The bicycle paths have designed along the selected routes, the implementation projects and approximate costs of these bicycle paths have prepared, and a survey study has conducted including the city center and the university campus. The results of questionnaires have evaluated with Chi-square, Phi and Cramer's V tests. As a result, bicycle use in transport investments for sustainable transport it has to been found as one of the most important solutions to urban transportation problems, as it is a healthy, safe, economical, environmentally friendly mode of transportation and beneficial in terms of accessibility.
