İklim Değişikliğinin Turizme Etkisini Belirlemeye Yönelik Hazırlanan Lisansüstü Tezlerin Bibliyometrik Profili

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, iklim değişikliğinin turizme etkisini inceleyen lisansüstü tezlerin çeşitli parametreler çerçevesinde bibliyometrik olarak analiz edilmesidir. Bu amaçla YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi ve Proquest veri tabanı üzerinden 14’ü yüksek lisans 24’ü doktora olmak üzere toplam 38 teze ulaşılmış ve ilgili çalışmalar bibliometrik tekniklerle analiz edilmiştir. Tezlerin sınıflandırılmasında “tez türü”, “yayımlandığı yıl”, “yayımlandığı üniversite”, “yayımlandığı enstitü”, “yayımlandığı anabilim dalı”, “araştırmanın türü”, “uygulama alanı”, “yöntem” ve “tezin çalışma konusu” parametreleri esas alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına dâhil edilen tezler, ilgili parametrelere göre frekans analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgulara göre turizm işletmelerinin iklim değişikliğine yönelik adaptasyon stratejileri, iklim değişikliğinin bir destinasyondaki turizm gelişimi, turizm talebi ve turistlerin destinasyon sadakatine etkisi gibi konularda çalışma yapılmasına ihtiyaç duyulduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmanın, iklim değişikliği ve turizm ilişkisi üzerine araştırma yapacak olan araştırmacılara konuyla ilgili literatürde hangi alanlarda eksikliğin olduğunu göstermesi bakımından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this research is to analyze bibliometrically the various post-graduate theses that are prepared to determine the effect of climate change on tourism. For this purpose, a total of 38 theses were analyzed by bibliometric analysis method, which consists of 14 master and 24 doctoral theses which were found to be related to the effect of climate change on tourism, from the database of YOK National Thesis Center and Proquest database. In the classification of the theses, parameters such as "thesis type", "published year", "published university", "published graduate school", "published field", "type of research", "application area", "method" and "thesis work". The theses included in the scope of the research were subjected to frequency analysis according to the related parameters. This study is thought to be important in terms of showing the deficiencies in the relevant literature to the researchers who will make research on the relationship between climate change and tourism.
