BECK UMUTSUZLUK ÖLÇEĞİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ (GÜMÜŞHANE İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Gümüşhane il merkezinde yaşayan bireylerin umutsuzluk düzeylerinin ve umutsuzluk düzeylerinde çeşitli değişkenler açısından farklılık olup olmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Gümüşhane il merkezinde yaşayan bireyler oluştururken örneklem grubunu tesadüfi örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenen ve araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılmak isteyen 258 kadın ve 135 erkek toplam 393 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılanların umutsuzluk düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla Beck ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen „Umutsuzluk Ölçeği ve katılımcıların kendileri ve aileleri hakkındaki ilgili bilgilerin alınması amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen „Genel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda kadın katılımcılarının puan ortalamalarının 5 22 ± 4 03 ve erkek katılımcıları puan ortalamalarının 5 91 ± 4 79 olduğu; tüm katılımcıları umutsuzluk puan ortalamasının ise 5 54±4 34 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Umutsuzluk düzeyi ile kişinin eğitim durumu eşini eğitim durumu(P<0 001) ve mesleği gelir düzeyi nüfusa kayıtlı olduğu yer açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunurken (P<0 05) yaş cinsiyet medeni durum çocuk sayısı ailenin sağlık güvencesi olup olması ve aile tipi açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olmadığı (p>0 05) belirlenmiştir. In this study it is aimed at determining the hopelessness levels in the living of population of Gümüşhane provincial center and differences if they are in hopelessness level in terms of various variables. While the universe of the study is composed by the individuals living in Gümüşhane the provincial center the sample group includes 258 women and 135 men total of 393 people determined by the method of random sampling among the volunteers wishing to participate the survey. In order to determine the hopelessness levels of the participants the 'Hopelessness Scale' which was developed by Beck et al as used and in order to receive information about the participants and their families the 'General Information Form ""developed by the researchers was used. As a result the mean scores of female participants was 5.22 ± 4.03 and the mean scores of male participants was 5.91 ± 4.79; while the average score of all participants was 5.54 ± 4.34. When statistically significant difference was found between hopelessness level and educational level profession spouse education level(p <0.001) and profession income level of the participants (p <0.05) there is no significant difference statically was found between hopelessness level and age gender marital status number of children that the family has health insurance or not and family type (p> 0.05)."
