While new generation technologies are produced, the readiness of the society in which they are produced to the technology to be presented is an important factor that will enable enterprises to obtain maximum benefit from the technology product. It is possible to estimate the readiness of a society for technology according to the level of technology readiness. Resistance to technology refers to the level of adoption or non-adoption of technology by individuals. In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between technological resistance and technological readiness of passengers travelling to Istanbul Airport. For this purpose, a questionnaire study was conducted on 101 people from the Istanbul Airport departing passenger group. According to the research findings, it was concluded that there is a statistically significant, negative, and weak relationship between technology readiness and technological resistance. © 2024, IGI Global.
