Abstrat: —Sphagnum russowii and Leptodontium flexifolium found as new to Turkey following a recent bryofloristic foray in Artvin region (Caucasus), from the East Black Sea region of Turkey and Leptodontium is the first record of the genus from Turkey. Descriptions, illustrations, a distribution map, ecological characteristics, and comparisons with morphologically similar taxa were presented. © Pleiades Publishing, Inc. 2023.
