Aim: This study was carried out in a randomized controlled manner to determine the effect of a serious game based web application on stoma care education for nursing students. Method: The learning styles and digital game motivation levels of the students in the study were determined, and aprior knowledge test was performed. While the website of the serious game-based application was open to the access of the intervention group for two weeks, no intervention was made for the control group. Second knowledge and skil lmeasurements were performed after two weeks for all students in the study, and evaluations of retention were performed four weekslater.
