‘el-KÜTÜB'TEN ‘İSRAİLİYAT'A BİR KAVRAMIN TARİH İÇİNDEKİ YOLCULUĞU

Abstract

Bu makalede: – İslam literatürünün ilk kaynaklarında sıkça tekrarlanan ‘el-Kütüp = Kitaplar’ kavramının anlamı; – el-Kütüb kavramının İslam öncesi dönemden hicri dör- düncü asrın sonlarına kadar olan dönemdeki gelişimi ve İsrailiyat kavramıyla yer değişimi; – Kitaplardan gelen nakillerin cümle kalıpları ve genel içerikleri – İsrailiyat kavramını ilk kullanan kişinin önceki bazı ça- lışmalarda iddia edildiği gibi Mes’ûdî olmayıp, Vehb b. Münebbih olduğu konuları incelenmiştir.

In this article, has been investigated that – The meaning of the the word 'al-Kutub = The Books' which is frequently repeated in the first sources of Islam- ic literature – Developping of this concept during to the historical process from the pre-Islamic period till the end of the fourth century (AH) and replacing with 'Israiliyat' – Sentence patterns and their general contents of the transmitters from The Books – The first person who used the concept of Israiliyat is Vahb b. Munabbih, not Masoode as confirmed into some previous studies.
