Türkiye’deki organik tarımın ekonomik analizi

Abstract

Bilim, teknoloji, sanayi ve kırsal kalkınma alanındaki gelişmeler, tarımsal faaliyetlerin oluşum şeklini ve tarımsal ürünlere yönelik beklentileri değiştirmektedir. Toplumlarda çevre ve sağlığa ilişkin bilinç düzeyiyle birlikte organik tarıma ilgi de artmakta ve dünyadaki organik tarım pazarı, artan oranlarda genişlemektedir. Bu çalışma, Türkiye ekonomisi örneğinde organik tarımın ekonomik boyutunu ele almaktadır. Türkiye organik tarım açısından oldukça elverişli şartlara ve büyük bir üretim potansiyeline sahip olmasına rağmen dünya organik ürün ve gıda pazarında küçük bir paya sahiptir. Türkiye’de organik tarımın ekonomik varlığını artırarak devam ettirebilmesi, yatırımın geri dönüşümünün sağlanması, maliyetlerin azaltılması, ürünlerin iç ve dış pazar talebinin artırılmasına bağlıdır. Özellikle dünyada meydana gelen teknolojik gelişmelerin izlenmesi ve buradan elde edilecek kazanımların organik tarım ürünleri ihracına yansıtılması önem teşkil etmektedir.

The developments in science, technology, industry and rural development change the emergence type of agricultural activity and the expectations for agricultural products. With the rise in the awareness level in societies for environment and health, the interest in organic agriculture increases and the organic market becomes wide at increasing rate. This study focuses on the economic dimension of organic agriculture in its example of Turkish economy. Although Turkey has quite sufficient conditions and a large potential of production in terms of organic agriculture, it occupies a little place in the world organic production and food market. İn order for Turkey to continue the economical existence of agriculture depends on providing investment with recycling, reducing the costs and increasing the demand for products in domestic and foreign market. Especially following the technological progress which happens in the world and using the gains obtained from this process in the export of organic agricultural products have importance.
