In this studyit is aimed to establish three accelerometers and Flux-Gate magnetometer to estimate the affection level of Gümüşhane province from an earthquake occurred in the North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ) zone and to observe the changes in earth magnetic field due to sun storms. It is considered that the accelerometers (3 units) must be installed in Karaca Cave which is an important place of Gümüşhane for its tourism; in hydroelectric station of Kürtün dam which is an important engineering structure in terms of energy production, agriculture, and water sports, and in Şiran which is a close to the NAFZ. Flux-gate magnetometer is built in Gümüşhane. The Torul and Kürtün towns are less affected whereas the Kelkit, Şiran and Köse towns are more affected from an earthquake which is occurred in the NAF zone. Karaca Cave, 17 km northwest of Gümüşhane, is one of the most important tourism in this region. The Kürtün Hydroelectric Power Plant, built on the Harşit River in Kürtün district, not only serves for energy purposes, but also provides the opportunity for fish production and water sports on the dam lake. Storms which are due to the sudden and severe explosions in the sun may cut the electricity and communications line, may cause the shortcomings in radio communications, and may cause radiation on humans. Gümüşhane has a great potential in terms of lead, zinc, copper, gold, and silver. Magnetic method, one of the Geophysical methods, has been successfully used to search such kind of mineral deposits.
