Bir Kaçış Öyküsü: Mim Kara’nın Doğuya Hüzün Turları

Abstract

Doğuya kutsallık atfederek bütün suç ve günahlardan Batı'yı sorumlu tutan, kendi eleştirisini Batı'nın yanlışları üzerinden yapanların karşısında, Mim Kara'nın, Doğuya Hüzün Turları'nda anarşik bir tutum takındığı ve savunmanın acziyetini tümüyle dışladığı görülür. Şair, sözünü eğip bükmeden söyleyen bir kaçak, anlattığı ise bir kaçışın öyküsüdür. Kaçış, kurtuluşun yegâne adresi Doğu'yadır. Ancak Doğuya Hüzün Turları'nda yönler bir mekâna değil bir duruma ve duruşa işaret eder. Doğu insanın aklını, aklının anlamını yitirdiği yerde başlar; mekân buna bir kolaylık sağladığı ölçüde doğudur. Buna koşut olarak Kara'nın kitabından iki karşıt denklem çıkarmak mümkündür: Doğu=hüzün=saf akıl ve Batı=Ø=verili akıl. Batı, bir kurgunun mamulü, Doğu ise tanrının yansımasıdır. Doğuya Hüzün Turları, kendi Doğu'sunda Batı'yı yaşayanlara, çağdaş yalanlardan sanal hakikatler çıkaranlara, aklını ve vicdanını terk edenlere uyarılarla doludur. Kara'ya göre bilmemek suçtur, hayata karşı dalgınlık ise ihanetten başka bir şey değildir. Bu yolculukta Doğu hep daha öteye çağıran sürekli bir tekâmülün adıdır

Opposing those who sanctify the east, blame the west for all crimes and sins, and make their selfcriticisms on the basis of the wrongs of the west, Mim Kara, in his Doğuya Hüzün Turları (Sorrow Tours to the East), is seen to develop an anarchist attitude and exclude the impotence of defence thoroughly. The poet is a fugitive who speaks without beating around the bush and what he tells is the story of escape. The escape is towards the east, the sole address of salvation. However, directions do not denote a place, but a state and a stance in Doğuya Hüzün Turları (Sorrow Tours to the East). The east starts at a point where man loses his reason or the meaning of his reason; the place can be regarded east as long as it provides convenience for this. Concordantly, it is quite possible to infer two counter equations from Kara’s volume: East=sorrow=pure reason and West==Ø=given reason. The west is a product of fiction, but the east is the reflection of God. Doğuya Hüzün Turları is full of warnings for people who experience the west in their east, discover virtual truth out of modern lies and abandon their reasons and conscience. According to Kara, to be in the dark about the world is a crime, so vacancy in life is no other than a betrayal.
